Course Description
What: Systematic Theology
When: Saturdays: August 29, October 3, October 31
Time: 10-4 each gathering
Where: TBD based on enrollment
Taught by: Rev. Dr. Roberta Mosier-Peterson and Rev. Dr. Pete Mills

The students will be introduced to major themes and issues of systematic theology. They will explore how historical factors impact theology. Students will learn important themes in theology: God, Trinity, sources for theology, creation, humanity, sin, salvation, life in the Spirit, and the end times. Students will be challenged to question their own beliefs, values, and practices in light of theology. It is important that students understand the questions, terms, and vocabulary of theology. However, it is our conviction that it is vitally important that those preparing for a lifetime of ministry in church leadership understand how necessary theology is in the basic functions of church life. It is our aim to challenge students to become lifelong learners of theology. We hope to produce thoughtful, humble, and articulate theologians for the present and future church in Genesis Conference.
